Reel Pete is where I talk about classics, cult films, and current releases without star ratings and without pretending there’s one correct way to experience a movie. I’m interested in what a film is trying to do, how it made me feel, and why two people can walk out of the same theater having experienced something completely different.
My connection to movies goes beyond being a fan. I’m a film-school graduate and spent part of my career working in visual effects on films including Fantastic Four, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties, and Eight Below. Today, I’m still watching, discussing, and discovering movies every chance I get.
